Department of Health Accreditation Update Forum: 25 July 2011
The focus of the forum was to update public health services on the imminent changes to accreditation. The implementation of the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care's (ACSQHC) national accreditation scheme, and implementation within Victoria were discussed at the forum.
The forum included:
- An update on the National Safety and Quality in Health Service Standards and progress on the implementation of the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care's National Safety and Quality in Health Service Standards

Department of Health National Accreditation Forum: 23 February 2011
The focus of the forum was to provide an opportunity for health services to help shape what the requirements for accreditation will be for Victorian public health services with implementation of the National Safety and Quality in Health Service Standards.The department completed a comparative analysis of existing standards, plus legislative and regulative requirements, against the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care’s draft National Safety and Quality in Health Service Standards. The findings of the comparative analysis were discussed at the forum.
