Annual Reporting Guidelines - Health Services 2008/09

The guidelines have been prepared to meet the requirements of the Financial Management Act 1994 (the Act), Section 4.2 of the Standing Directions of the Minister for Finance under the Act, Financial Reporting Directions and the Australian Health Care Agreement. Your attention is drawn to the Printing and Publication section (page 8) regarding items to focus on when publishing your Annual Report. The guidelines illustrate minimum disclosure requirements. If additional disclosures aid the readers in gaining a better understanding of the Agency, then these should be included in the Annual Report in consultation with your Auditor-General's agent. The 2008-09 guidelines are substantially unchanged from the 2007-08 guidelines, with the exception of the inclusion of the new Attestation on Data Accuracy to be signed by the Accountable Office within the Report of Operations.
