News bulletins
The Cemeteries and Crematoria Act 2003 bulletin was provided to keep you updated on the implementation of the new Cemeteries and Crematoria Act 2003. The new cemeteries laws commenced on 1 July 2005, therefore the Final News Bulletin August 2005 will be the last in this series of bulletins.
Future information and advice about the new Act and regulations will be provided through the Cemeteries and Crematoria Program news bulletin and other correspondence.
The final Cemeteries and Crematoria Act news bulletin is now available.

The bulletin provides information about:
- the manner in which you will continue to receive advice about the new laws;
- how you can access the new Act and regulations;
- the next financial abstract required to be submitted by cemetery trusts to the department; and
- when trusts will receive advice about recommended cemetery trust fees and charges.
