An excellent award winning, Australian based website containing accurate information and original research about head lice. It offers very practical and easy to follow advice to deal with the frustration of head lice (pediculosis).

This is a very good site from the United Kingdom. The authors are consultants for communicable disease control and provide accurate information to reduce the panic often associated with head lice.

Another excellent website containing information about chemical resistance as well as an excellent section on answering frequently asked questions concerning head lice.

Nitpickers
This is an Australian site set up by two mums in Queensland who are now running an education and advisory service for other parents. It has very helpful information on how to establish and run a parent volunteer school-based program for head lice.

The Queensland Health website contains useful information and resources for the control and management of head lice. This site includes school curriculum materials based on the Health Promoting Schools Framework.
