The Resource Management Systems portfolio was wound up in May 2008 after successfully completing the Human Resource Management Systems project and the Finance and Materials Information Management Systems project. These projects oversaw the replacement of existing systems as well as the standardisation of business processes associated with human resource and finance and supply management.
Finance and materials information management systems (FMIS)
- Agency Implementation 100% complete, 8 agencies implemented of 8 in-scope.
Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS)
- Payroll: Agency Implementation100% complete, 7 agencies implemented of 7 in-scope.
- Rostering: Agency Implementation 100% complete, 2 agencies implemented out of 2 in-scope.
Since the project's closure, a number of agencies have expressed interest in transitioning to these products with
- Southern Health completed implementation of rostering across all campus in June 2010.
- Loddon Mallee has undertaken a part implementation of HealthSMART's payroll system (Chris21) with three small health services in north-west Victoria going live in July 2009. The health services are Robinvale District Health Service, Sunraysia Community Health Centre (Mildura) and Mallee Track Health and Community Service (Ouyen). Approximately 800 payslips are produced per month from these sites, with approximately 400 employees on Chris21.
- St Vincent's and Alfred Health have both completed implementation planning studies for HealthSMART's rostering system. Implementation of rostering is now underway and is scheduled for completion in late 2011.
The Department of Human Services' Disability Services division is also in the process of implementing the HealthSMART rostering system at Community Residential Units (CRUs).
