The Department of Human Services (DHS) has not increased the published rate for Compensable Admitted Patients since 2002/2003. DHS has determined that effective 1 July 2004, the rates for 2004/2005 will increase by 8%. This increase reflects the increases applied to private admitted single room rates and includes a catch up for 2003/04.
