Subject: 2007 Public Health Sector Nurses EBA – ANF Claims

Purpose:  To seek health services’ assistance in preparations for enterprise bargaining negotiations with public health sector nurses.


As you would be aware, the Australian Nursing Federation Victorian Branch (ANF) has served enterprise bargaining claims on Victorian public health services with regard to general nurses.

The Department has also received the ANF’s claim and is undertaking an analysis and preliminary costing of the items claimed.  Whilst a number of claimed items can be costed based on existing available data, specific additional (and local) data is required to arrive at a valid costing of the broad suite of claims.  Therefore, the Department is seeking your cooperation and assistance in completing the attached data survey.

It is absolutely critical that each health service subject to the ANF’s claims completes this survey as fully and accurately as possible and return it to the Department, in the format as presented.
