Celebrating the best in healthcare

Amid the constant challenges facing healthcare, it is important to celebrate the shining stars who are changing the face of healthcare in Victoria.

There is no better time to enter the sixth annual Victorian Public Healthcare Awards, which celebrate Victoria’s most outstanding health services, exceptional initiatives and most dedicated clinical, research and health workforce.

Each year the Awards seek out innovations and excellence, public health campaigns, health services and approaches that celebrate our health champions and demonstrate the highest commitment to patient’s in Victoria.

Entries are now being called in the following divisions:

Premier’s Award for most outstanding health service of the year*
*Organisations must first register their intention to enter by 25 June 2010.

Minister for Health individual and team

Department of Health Secretary’s Award

Reducing inequalities
Prevention and promotion
Responding to mental health and drug and alcohol service needs
Responding to an ageing population
