Entries open for the Victorian Public Healthcare Awards
19 July 2011
The Victorian Public Healthcare Awards are the state’s most prestigious health awards program and are proudly presented by the Premier of Victoria, the Minister for Health, the Minister for Mental Health and the Department of Health Secretary.
Each year the awards seek out innovations and excellence in public health, health services and service initiatives that deliver innovative, informed and effective healthcare. The awards celebrate our health champions and demonstrate the highest commitment to patient outcomes and experiences in Victoria.
The awards program has been expanded in 2011 to ensure recognition across all parts of the public healthcare system including health promotion and disease prevention, primary healthcare, secondary care and tertiary care.
With 20 awards to bestow, including the new Health Lifetime Achievement Award, seven Health Leader’s Awards and six Better Health Awards, opportunities are open to all Victorian health services to celebrate their quality, innovation and excellence.
As an award winner, you receive statewide recognition of your achievements and provided the opportunity to share your successful ideas with peers and colleagues for the ongoing benefit of patients and the Victorian community.
