Southern Health makes public service its business

Southern Health has been named the joint winner of the 2010 Australian Business Award for Public Service.
Southern Health Chief Executive Shelly Park described the award as an outstanding achievement and a testament to the hard working staff across the health organisation’s 43 sites.
"Our dedication to providing the best patient care remains at the top of our priority list," Ms Park said.
"We are thrilled to be able to share this with our staff, families and supporters."
Southern Health Chair Barbara Yeoh said the award acknowledged Southern Health’s innovative business processes, product development, enterprise, service excellence, environmental sustainability and overall business success.
The Australian Business Awards are a national awards program recognising the success, innovation and ethics of Australian companies and organisations across all industry sectors.
