Give Breastfeeding a Boost - Community based
approaches to improving breastfeeding rates. A literature review - February
2005
This report has been compiled through a review of published literature,
in addition to consultation with breastfeeding women to identify effective
strategies to improve breastfeeding rates for specific ‘at risk’ groups.
The Centre for Clinical Effectiveness, Monash Institute of Health Services
Research and the Australain Breastfeeding Association, undertook this collaborative
project through funding provided by the Victorian Department of Human Services,
Public Health Group.

Pilot implementation of a scheme
for recognition of best practice in food service in long day childcare
centres in Victoria
Based on the outcomes of and lessons learned from the Western Australian
Start Right - Eat Right award scheme, this pilot project will investigate
the need for, the viability of, and a process for potential statewide
implementation of a scheme for recognition of best practice in food service
in Victorian long day childcare centres.
