People being treated under the Severe Substance Dependence Treatment Act 2010 can apply at any time to the Magistrates’ Court to stop a detention and treatment order. They should fill out this form and send it to the Magistrates’ Court. Victoria Legal Aid or the Office of the Public Advocate can help.
