Costing study for cemeteries and crematoria - October 2006

Overview

The Cemeteries and Crematoria Act 2003 ('the Act') came into effect on 1 July 2005. The Act gave effect to a number of changes for the industry including the requirement for cemetery trusts to set fees having regard to the costs of operating and managing the cemetery as well as the costs associated with meetings its perpetual maintenance obligations.
