Healesville Review - Report to the Victorian Department of Health

This report examines the current and future funding options for the public sector health and aged care services in Healesville. The Department of Health commissioned this report in the context of proposals from the Save Healesville Hospital Action Group that the three Healesville agencies - Healesville & District Hospital, Yarra Valley Community Health and Monda Lodge Hostel - be disaggregated from Eastern Health and instead be funded as a Small Rural Health Service. The Action Group has suggested that some Small Rural Health Services that are comparable to the Healesville agencies are funded at higher levels.
