About the role

There are more than 400 Class B cemetery trusts across metropolitan, regional and rural Victoria.

Cemetery trusts are public boards that manage public cemeteries and deliver services with care and compassion.

They respect the cultural and religious values of the community and preserve the history of our cemeteries for future generations.

Who we're looking for

We’re looking for people with a range of skills and experiences. Examples include:

  • committees and boards
  • grounds keeping.

Applications for appointment are made directly to the relevant cemetery trust.

  1. Download the list of Class B cemetery trusts and look for a cemetery trust in your local area.
  1. Use the contact information to get in touch with the trust directly to find out more about the position.
  2. Read the application guidelines. The guidelines contain important information about the department’s use of personal information, probity checks and conflicts of interest.
  1. When you’re ready to apply, complete the application form and send it to the applicable cemetery trust.
