The department works in partnership with a range of organisations to provide sexual health and viral hepatitis programs and services relating to:
- prevention and health promotion
- supporting and strengthening community action
- screening and diagnosis
- clinical management and support
- surveillance and research

Victorian partners and services
In Victoria, a variety of services are delivered across the hospital, community health and primary care systems for people affected by or at risk of blood-borne viruses and sexually transmissible infections.
Testing, treatment, care and support services
- Victorian HIV - supports continuing care needs of people living with HIV
- Victorian HIV Mental Health - provides mental health services to people living with HIV
- Victorian HIV/AIDS - provides a range of services for people living with HIV
- Victorian non-occupational post-exposure prophylaxis (NPEP)
- HIV - supports the needs of people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds living with HIV
- Horizon - supported accommodation service for people living with HIV
Bolton - HIV Program
Melbourne Sexual Health - specialises in the testing, treatment and management of sexually transmissible infections
Multicultural Health and Support - supports refugee and migrant communities in the area of sexually transmissible infections
North Richmond Community Health - provides services for marginalised and diverse communities

Raglan Street – offers sexual health care services in Ballarat, including a dedicated clinic on Wednesday evenings from 5pm to 8pm.

Victorian HIV Treatment Program
The Victorian HIV Treatment Program (the Program) provides access for people living with HIV without Medicare to antiretroviral therapy (ART). The program is exclusive to ART medicines used for the purpose of HIV treatment of the specified individual for the duration of their stay in Australia and while they are ineligible for Medicare.
This program replaces compassionate access schemes previously operated by pharmaceutical companies.

Rainbow Health - Rainbow Health Australia is a program that supports lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer/questioning, asexual (LGBTIQA+) health and wellbeing.
- provides free, confidential and anonymous telephone counselling, referral and information services for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex communities
Haemophilia - provides services and support to those living with haemophilia and related disorders
Harm Reduction - drug user peer support organisation
Hepatitis - works for people living with or at risk of viral hepatitis
Ilbijerri Theatre - productions that raise awareness of key issues facing the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community
Resourcing health and Education (RhED) - a specialist service for the sex industry and sex workers in Victoria
Living Positive - community based organisation representing people living with HIV in Victoria
Positive Women - information and support for women living with HIV in Victoria
Victorian Aboriginal Health - provides health services focusing on the specific needs and requirements of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community
Victorian AIDS Council (Gay Men's Health - services that support the health and wellbeing of the Victorian HIV positive and gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender communities
Victorian Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation - provides health services focusing on the specific needs and requirements of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community
