First annual report

The first annual report for the Victorian suicide prevention and response strategy 202434 describes the achievements from the strategy’s first year. It shows the work that the government and the community have done to prevent and respond to suicide in Victoria.

Efforts across the first year of implementation have helped to increase awareness of suicide, strengthen supports in place to prevent and respond to suicide, and shift to an approach that moves beyond a traditional health-led focus into one where everyone has a role to play.

Insights from the first annual report will be key in helping shape future implementation.
