Reducing occupational violence in Victorian hospitals (June 2016)
Reducing occupational violence in Victorian hospitals outlines the Department of Health’s strategic objectives to prevent and reduce occupational violence and aggression in Victorian health services. It is based on a culture change approach, with initiatives focussed on raising awareness, building knowledge and capability among the workforce and leadership teams, and embedding systems and processes at the individual, service and system level.
The Violence in Healthcare Taskforce report (June 2016)
Following the release of Occupational violence against healthcare workers, the Victorian Minister for Health, the Hon. Jill Hennessy MP established the Violence in Healthcare Taskforce to identify and make recommendations on opportunities to reduce violence in Victorian hospitals, as well as support the implementation of the Victorian Government's commitment to address occupational violence and aggression in healthcare. The taskforce released Violence in Healthcare Taskforce report: taking action to reduce violence in Victorian Hospitals in June 2016.
